Sarah is native to the Virginia peninsula and proud to serve the Hampton Roads community in her practic. Sarah came to the firm in 2017 with a lot of experience in civil litigation, small business law, and consumer protection. She is excited to include assisted conception and surrogacy contracts to her repertoire of contract drafting. In every field, she focuses on solving problems for her clients.
Sarah is passionate about helping individuals living with disabilities. She is prepared to assist clients with matters involving estate planning and litigation, public benefits such as Medicaid and Social Security, guardianships and conservatorships, and reasonable zoning accommodations. Sarah is qualified to serve as a guardian ad litem for incapacitated adults and is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA).
Sarah is admitted to practice in all Virginia State Courts, the Federal Courts of the Eastern District of Virginia, and the Bankruptcy Courts of the Eastern District of Virginia.
Outside the office, Sarah participates in service projects locally and internationally that focus on assisting individuals with disabilities, animal welfare and conservation, and improving literacy and childhood education. Sarah can also be found at a local book club, yoga class, or playing kickball.
Education
Sarah graduated magna cum laude from Pace University School of Law (now the Elisabeth Haub School of Law), and cum laude as an honors scholar from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
